The tug AGHIOS NICOLAOS was not scrapped as suggested at HMA at

Actually the ship had a new lease of life, as she was rebuild as a cargo ship fitted with diesels. Here is the rest of her story:
Sold in 1957 to Κ. Kyriakides & Α. Georgiou, Piraeus and converted into a diesel driven cargo (168 grt, 35.3 x 6.46 m.) without a name change.
Sold in 1960 to S. & D. Zoulis & Sp. Vlachos. Piraeus.
In 1971 she was renamed PLATYTERA. Her traces were lost since as there were no further entries in her registry file.
