Entschuldigung für die Verwendung von Englisch, meine deutsch sindt slecht.
I'm tracing my grandfathers steps as a merchant sailor for the Norwegian Merchant Fleet. However, he embarked the SS Orion in New York April 21st 1941, and disembarked in Cape Town June 15th 1941.
From the document I found on ancestry.com (see attached jpg) I see that the ship is intended for Pireus, Greece.
Does anyone hold crew-member lists, ship-diary, port-logs or any other type of documentation that can identify these approx 60 days for my grandfather. Or any information of where to look,
His name was Gustav Liland, and was Norwegian, born 1920.
