Gentlemen

I was sent a photo of the Offizier and understand he commanded U-Jäger 116 of which he received the Ritterkreuz.  killed in action ?  on 9th of July 1942 in Norway.

Have really nothing on the man, does anyone have biographical information on him to his awards and service time and cause of death ?

many thanks
