It would seem most of the film material was made at Antwerp (Sonderkommando Siebel) :

Danke Arjan,
September 2010.

Hello Arjan,
many thanks for the link.
BTW final sequence from 10:13:41is of course showing no "Strumgeschuetz" but 7,5 cm Pak 40 auf Geschuetzwagen Lorraine Schlepper (f) SdKfz 135.
A rather rare item in German service with just over a 100 or so converted.
So a real interesting non naval extra showing this tank hunter in action (or mock up action at least).
Regards
Markus
Darius: I hadn't noticed Dirk's thread :embarassed:
Markus: The Sdkfz. 135 is one of my favourite armoured vehicles, it may have belonged to the 65. Infanterie Division which was stationed in Antwerp at some point :

Concerning the Sonderkommando footage, I'm amazed by the skill of the Stubo crews. It must have been difficult to get the Stubos back onto the ramps of the Transporter without crashing :-).
Gruss,
Arjan
Hello Arjan,
interesting the desperate use of all the captured french armor from Chenillette Lorraine to Char B1 as self propelled (mostly anti-tank) artillery.
Weird enough and strange if french
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorraine_37L#/media/File:3046446339_2_15_izzUp8eM.jpg
is right, one made it with WWI s.FH. 13 to Iraq.
Not a naval thread but kind of funny cross-over.
Anyway must admit I didn't noticed Dirks link too and the pictures from Schelde estuary are kind of amazing.
Regards
Markus
As it happens there are currently some interesting pics on Ebay showing some Fähren and the Pionier Werft Bataillon sF in Antwerpen :

edit: This photo is particularly interesting because it shows some Fähren under construction and it also shows pontoon segments on the quay. Again also one of the two bridges that spanned the dock :

Oh, I saw this picture today in the morning, but didn´t notice the pontoons.
Thank you Arian :TU:)

I posted some pics of the Fähren assembly location here :

I added some new pics and a satellite photo of the present situation. The location in 2018 is still surprisingly easy to recognise :

Hello Arjan,
very nice. Are there any plans of this area online?

Hallo Darius,
Just type in "Albertdok Antwerpen" in google maps and select satellite view. I will make a then and now reconstruction of some more Fähren pics in the port of Antwerp. I have managed to pinpoint the location of at least three more pics.
edit: I've just added my reconstruction of the well-known pic of a Hochseelehrkommando Büssing Fähre :

The penultimate pic posted by Axel here was taken at the Leopolddok :
