Ich weiß, dass Stolpmünde heute Ustka heißt.
Meine Äußerung Stolpmünde = Ustka war als Lesehilfe für die Google-Karte gemeint, auf der halt nur der Name Ustka auftaucht. In ASA ist aber von Stolpmünde die Rede; und zwar sank JENNY nordwestlich von Stolpmünde. Die Position 54.58n 16.10e ist ebenfalls nordwestlich von Stolpmünde. Wieso - und damit sind wir beim Kern meiner Rückfrage  - schreibt Igor: Target was not JENNY (other place) ?

P.S. Ich habe die Aussage Stolpmünde = Ustka jetzt umgestellt. So ist sie hoffentlich deutlicher als Lesehilfe für die Google-Karte erkennbar

As i see, it is my error. I don't remember, way i think like this, probably i mix up Stolpmunde with other place.

Am 24 Oct 2006 schrieb mir Erling Skjöld:

"UJ1702/KUJ.16 was not participating in the convoy 21.12.44, and started her Werftliegezeit in Kristiansand on 24.12.1944. She survived the war."

Ich hatte diesen Datensatz schon mal gelöscht (denn Rohwer hatte bereits eine Anmerkung hinzugesetzt, die vermuten lässt, dass etwas bei diesem Verlust ungeklärt ist). Ich habe den Datensatz aber irgendwann wieder aktiviert, einfach weil der Plausibilitätsnachweis fehlte. Dass die Werftliegezeit am 24.12. beginnt, läßt nicht den Schluss zu, dass KUJ.16 nicht an der Sicherung des Konvois beteiligt war.

Ich hätte schon ganz gerne Quellennachweise oder schlüssige Argumente für Eure Korrekturvorschläge, sonst wird das hier zu einem beliebigen Spiel von Behauptung und Gegenbehauptung, und wer zuletzt den Mund aufgemacht, der kriegt Recht.

In KTB 11 UJ-Flotilla we read:
"21.12.44 01.15
UJ.1101/13/16 Geleit Chef 11. Uj.-Fl. wird durch die Uj.-Gruppe 1109/1702/1709 zusatzlich gesichert bis Klausgrund"
This is not typo - UJ.1702 appears also before and after in this KTB for 21.12.44.
Convoy composition - WEICHSELLAND, GISELA OLDENDORF, GOL, MITRA, U.427.

Fehlbeobachtung!
Das war position Nr. 7.
K-51 11.12.44 diese position verlassen, dann ab 20.12.44 mit K-56 besetzt. Diese boot 23 und 25.12 angriffs fuhren, nichts 24.12.44.
