Hello,

may someone tel me about the tonnage of the German steamer Favor sunk in the Mediterranean on 18 Jan. 1943 by the British submarine Splendid?

Hello ENRICO!

According to my sources the former Norwegian FAVOR was the later French SAINTE ROSELINE, which get under German command on 27.08.1942. It was torpedoed by HMS SPLENDID (P228) on 18.01.1943 and finally sunk by HMS LOYAL on 00.45 o´clock 15 nm south of Carbonara.
