U-Bootsjagd 20.01.1943

Liebe Kollegen,
Das KTB der 23. M-Flottille schildert für den 20. Januar 1943 die Jagd auf ein feindliches U-Boot vor Egersund.
Beteiligt waren M 1506 und M 421. Auch mit Hilfe von Hezlet's "patrolgrams" fand ich bislang nicht das betreffende britische U-Boot.
Laut uboat.net kommen UREDD und UNSPARING offenbar nicht infrage. Kann Jemand helfen?

Hello Thomas,

No Allied submarines in this area. I am afraid it was a non-sub contact.
The only Allied submarines operating off the Norwegian coast on 20.01.1943 were:
HMS Sickle about 25 miles NW of Kya Light.
HMS Tactician at noon in 64°27' N, 04°27' E.
HMS Trident at noon in 66°34' N, 06°52' E.

There were no Norwegian, Dutch or Free French submarines on patrol in the Norwegian Sea at that time. Soviet submarines were operating much farther north.
