No.641 (90t, 29/12/42), sunk by shore battery gunfire from Italian mainland, Straits of Messina. Date given as July 14th-15th, 1943
This is the official British Coastal Force boat loss information.
MGB-641 was badly damaged by coastal batteries and lost speed. Since, according to the instructions, the boats should not stop to provide assistance within the reach of coastal batteries, MGB-643 and MGB-646 left, but returned a little later, after the searchlights went out, and picked up the entire crew of MGB-641, from which no harm done; the boat sank.

ich habe in meinen alten Unterlagen noch Papierlisten gefunden. Darin stehen noch [weitere] Verluste
Hast Du die Boote nicht in die Liste aufgenommen, weil es sich um US-Lieferungen handelte ?

Nein, ich hatte den Mittelmeer-Band von Reynolds nicht berücksichtigt.
Die Listen (oben) habe ich ergänzt, ich wollte nicht alles nochmal wiederholen.
