Was spricht dafür das die Aufnahme von dem Tanker ( Memelland) in Frankreich gemacht wurde, könnte es nicht auch ein Hafen in Deutschland sein?

die Frage ist berechtigt.
Wenn man sich das Foto von Hastei ansieht ist kaum etwas vom Hintergrund zu sehen, entweder hat ein Zensor damit den Standort unkenntlich machen wollen oder ist handelt sich um eine flache Landschaft kaum, bebaut.
Das kann ich mir für Hamburg oder andere (deutsche) Liegeplätze an Raffinerien schwer vorstellen.
Eine noch wichtigere Frage ist aber ob es sich überhaupt um ein deutsches Schiff handelt.
Meine bisherigen Recherchen* dazu haben ergeben, dass es sich mit großer Sicherheit um ein Entwurf (Motortanker) der Jahre 1936-1939 handelt, die (28, soweit mir bekannt) Bauten der
E und O Klasse 9,200 ton bzw. ca 6200 BRT wurde für Shell in Auftrag gegeben und in verschiedenen Werften in 6 Ländern für die Niederlande und Grossbritannien gebaut.
* siehe unten Foto blau Verlauf Schanzkleid & Relingen, grün gedoppelte Decksstützen nicht nur auf dem Poopdeck, rot Zahl und Anordnung von Lüfter und Aussehen des Schornsteins.
Warum ich zuerst an ein von der Kriegsmarine genutztes Schiff gedacht habe, hat in erster Linie mit dem Tarnanstrich zu tun, dem ich auf keinem der zahlreichen anderen Fotos finden konnte (auch nicht bei der von der Gneisenau versenkten SIMNEA).
Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass die Memelland ex. Etrema, nicht das einzige Schiff war, das in deutsche Hände viel.

Survived on 11-11-1942 two attacks of Japanese raiders Hokohu Maru and Aikoku Maru in Indian Ocean, 500 miles off Sunda Straits. Voyage Abadan to Freemantle. The tanker was escorted by the Dutch mine sweeper Bengal. The raiders had previously intercepted Genota and seized and escorted her to Singapore. At the 6th gun shell one of the raiders was hit and escaped but a shell hit the tanker and killed the master and several persons on the bridge. While the crew was leaving the tanker and embarked in the life boats, one of the raiders launched 2 torpedoes which hit Omala on starboard side. At the same time the raiders shot the crew killing the chief engineer and several crew members wounding several of them who jump into the water, two Chinese sailors being killed by the surrounding sharks. Since Ondina remained afloat, the chief officer decided reboarding. The crew succeeded to blow out the existing fire and restart the engine. 20 days later Ondina entered Fremantle harbour where she was repaired. She returned in service. 20-2-1959 arrived Hong Kong for scrap.

Nachjetzigen Stand, und die Recherche ist noch nicht abgeschlossen, sind die 3 erbeuteten Einheiten nach meinem Dafürhalten die wahrscheinlichsten Kandidaten.
Solltet ihr noch Material (Auszüge KTB oder Bilder, etc.) beisteuern können, wäre ich für Unterstützung dankbar.
