It's a bit embarrassing, and I cannot remember where Veniero came from - probably the ULTRA intercepts where this name is used. I will correct it in a new version.

Great picture too, where is that from?

Hello Andreas,

It's a common mistake becasue there was also a submarine named VENIERO (same namesake). VENIER was the surname spelled in Venetian dialect (used by the Commercial Company), VENIERO was Italianised (used by Regia Marina..)....
