Mine laying in the Ligurian Sea in December 1943.

Colleagues,
I read that German torpedo boats TA, auxiliary mine layers and R-boats of the 12th R-flotilla in December 1943 conducted many mine laying in the Ligurian Sea. Please help to clarify a few questions - how many of these operations were, when and by what forces they were carried out.

In the SKL Diary for December 1943, 4 or five mine layings with the participation of torpedo boats are indicated (now I understand), but their places are not indicated there.                                                     

The Americans write that the torpedo boats shot Bastia twice, and on the night of 19/20 December  they were intercepted by the PT-boats.

This battle took place on the night of December 18/19. The SKL Diary says:
19 Dec. 1943 CONFIDENTIAL
Own Situation
The torpedo boats TA "23" end "24" carried out the
mine laying operation "Biber',' and the minelayer DWARSLAEUFER
the operation "Lochs " as planned. The torpedo boats were
twice attacked by PT boats with torpedoes /without results.
The shelling of Bastia could not be carried out owing to
unfavorable -weather conditions.
The Americans write that the PT-boats prevented the shelling of Bastia. What really happened?
