Reichadler an Schiffe

Hi

Do anyone know when the Reichadler were put on the Kriegsmarine ships in general and on S-Boote in particular?

I have never seen S 1 - S 5 with the eagel on the side. S 6 has one in 1936/37.
The higest boat number without an eagel that I know of is probebly S 12 (31 Aug 1935). S 10 did for sure not have it in the begining.

The attached post card shows S 7 - S 12 without eagels in the early grey paint and covers over the torpedo tubes (to hide them?). I think it is Sep. 1935 or spring 1936. The Kriegsmarine flag is probebly painted over the Reichmarine flag on the card. I think it is tender Nordsee with an eagel in the back ground.

Was the eagel introduced with the new Kriegsmarine flag in Nov. 1935?
