Demise of Franco Bargoni

I regret to report that my good friend Franco Bargoni, one among the foremost Italian naval historians, is with us no more. He passed away this morning. 
Franco was one of  the founding members of AIDMEN, Associaz. Italiana di Documentaz. Marittima e Navale, in Leghorn in 1983, and at 92 was currently still in charge as our Presidente onorario. A serious loss for us all.
