Currently on ebay two pics showing a Fähre that was apparently used to ferry Landser to the passenger ship Neptunia (torpedoed and sunk only two days later) . The pics are dated 16 September 1941 so this must be one of the first Siebelfähren used in the Mediterranean. Which SF could this be? :

This seller also had on offer some other interesting SF/MFP photos which have been sold by now. F 332 and F 532 ?:

This weekend there was also a colour pic on ebay of three MFP's in Emsaloe, Finland but unfortunately it seems to have vanished.

Hallo Arjan,
The pictures show "schwere Fähren 41" from the engineers. 12 of these ferries prepared originally for Operation Sealion" were brought in May/June 41  to Naples and from there to North Africa, first of all Tripolis to unload cargo ships. To my knowledge they have never been to Taranto, the inscription in spite of seemingly original is wrong. The place is rather Tripolis.
The schwere Fähre is not to be confused with the Siebelfähre from the Luftwaffe with aircraft engines. She had four 78 hp Ford engines in the end pontoons.
