hi, Herb,

you have to delete "Kmdt" (= Commanding officer) from many entries/ lines.

for entry Detmers: "HERMANN SCHOEMANN" and "Z.7" are the same (i.e., one) ship

for entry "von Gaza" , you should write Lt.(Ing.) to differentiate from Lt.ing. which could be read as "Leitender Ingenieur (L.I.)"

you should decide whether to use British or German abbreviations for the officer´s ship duties.
the synonyms are
Kmdt (Kommandant) = CO (Commanding officer), not: Commander !!, that´s a rank (like Korvettenkapitän)
I.O. (erster Offizier) = XO (Executive Officer)

Hi Urs,

Why there is Kmdt after  names is from German documents,as in Divisions on the ship.i think it means at central command post.

Why there is Kmdt after  names is from German documents,as in Divisions on the ship.i think it means at central command post.

even if it is so, in this case it´s plain irritating.

IMO, the HK´s didn´t have a "central command post" (like a real warship) except for the Bridge/wheelhouse.
