About the last Scharnhorst battle vs DoY & DDs,

I have read recently that the fatal hit wich slow down the speed from 32 to 8kts was a long range lucky hit from DoY.

Did you have exact info about this fatal hit:
Torpedo from a DD or 35cm6 shell from DoY?
