Regarding the fate of ELENI described at HMA  (http://www.historisches-marinearchiv.de/projekte/verluste_griechenland/ausgabe.php?lang=1&rubrik=%&where_value=574)as
I have found that the vessel had a "second life".
The wreck of ELENI was salvaged postwar and was towed to Ambelaki in Salamis where she was put to sale in 1950. Her new owner was the naval architect D.Karagiorgis and she was registered as the GEROKARAGIORGIS (means "old man Karagiorgis") with specifications being 147 grt, 34.5 x 6.95 m.
She was sold in 9.1959 to M. & I. Karagiorgis, in 11.1968 to F.&T. Daglas and in 2/173 to I.& N.Spiliopoulos, without any name changes. In 4.1973 she was sold to K.Drakos, M.Zervos & Co., Perama and was registered in Piraeus.
There were no more entries in her registry pages and I assume that her last owners were actually Perama shipbreakers, although there is always a possibility that she survived for more as her demise was never noted in the register.

Any photos of the ship would be most welcomed.
