As I wrote, I am also in Navalism Forum.
This forum is an alternate history about a new map of the world.
I have in charge Peru Fleet. Peru is a medium power with a potential to built 8000t of ship by year.
We can built personnal Never Were warships & buy update techno, year after year.
I have begin to built in 1897 & we are today in mid 1912.
About History, it smell powder between Iberia & Turkish...

All Guys use SpringSharp for Warships studies, easy to use & fast enough to built a fleet.

Peru, near Gran Colombian, is a medium-small industrial country.
she could built in 15 years 6 battleships, 6 cruisers, some torpedo boats & guns ships.

I have imagined the 1st div of Battleships with 6 Torpedo Boats & 2 Gun Boats in Chimbote Bay in 1901.

2 x Battleships:
1897-1899-10400tl-12000tfl-2T2x305+12x152+8x76.2-18kts
Cuzco
Lima

6 x Torpedo Boats:
1897-1898-250tl-313tfl-3x76.2+2TLTx457-21kts
Mancora
Punta Sal
Tacna
Paracas
Ilo
Huacho

2 x Gun Boats:
1897-150tl-175tfl-1x76.2+2x50.8-12.8kts
Serena
Moropa

A very interesting design, indeed, my friend!

What makes me guessing a little ... has there beed a predecessor with diagonal turret arrangement, and four turbines/shafts; or do I read the springsharp listing wrongly-?
And - please do give the reasons for mirroring the forward superstructure completely to the aft - redundancy?

In any case, I am eager for the outer lines, too!

(Frage: gabs Vorläufer mit diagonal versetzten Türmen und 4 Tu auf 4 Wellen, oder worauf bezieht sich die Tabelle;
Gründe für die Komplettspiegelung der Aufbauten vorne <=> achtern? Bitte Außenansichten!)

Ciao,
Harold

There is a mistake in that SS  :MS:

All 34cm turrets are in centerline position
-----------
2 blocks of superstructures (bridges) with 2 command positions symetrical for better chance in action.
Disposition of the turrets
AY
AQY
APQY
APQXY

I adopt that styl for the Peruvian Navy.
I like very much the position of the PQ turrets with the turbines under the guns & the 2 blocks of superstructures.

AC Shinchi Roca -1913 - 8000t - 3T2x23cm-AQY had also that look... :MZ:

Built a fleet with the classic ABXY, BX superfiring is not original.

Salut Jean-Francois!
Never mind - springsharp is not the holy grail.
But -as I mentioned before- could we see the outlines of your design? And, if you don't mind, would you accept some critics on it?

Harold

Like all warships built for Peru, Waskhar use "fresh water bulkhead" to refresh magazines.
That's necessary for tropical climat.
Here a view of BB Atahualpa with "fresh water bulkheads"

     6 293 lbs / 2 854 Kg = 61.1 x 5.9 " / 150 mm shells or 1.2 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.23
   Metacentric height 2.5 ft / 0.8 m
   Roll period: 13.0 seconds
   Steadiness   - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 72 %
         - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.35
   Seaboat quality  (Average = 1.00): 1.20

Hull form characteristics:
   Hull has low quarterdeck
   Block coefficient: 0.484
   Length to Beam Ratio: 10.00 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 22.18 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 51 %
   Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 60
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 10.00 degrees
   Stern overhang: 0.00 ft / 0.00 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
      - Stem:      21.33 ft / 6.50 m
      - Forecastle (18 %):   17.06 ft / 5.20 m
      - Mid (40 %):      13.45 ft / 4.10 m
      - Quarterdeck (18 %):   13.45 ft / 4.10 m (13.78 ft / 4.20 m before break)
      - Stern:      13.45 ft / 4.10 m
      - Average freeboard:   14.87 ft / 4.53 m
