Registro nacional de leyes de la Republica Oriental del Uruguay,

Ministerio de Obras Publicas (Ministry of Public Works) reported 29 Apr 1909 that the steamer OYARVIDE was purchased
the crew was defined by 12 men. She was to be used as lighthousetender . The captain was FRernando Tarallo.

Arriba a Montevideo el vapor "Primus" construído en Bremen por encargo del Gobierno. 29 de abril de 1909. Se rebautiza al vapor "Primus" con el nombre de "Oyarvide", entrando a prestar servicios en la Oficina Hidrográfica del Ministerio de Transportes y Obras Públicas. 13 de julio de 1909.
