PS:
There's a nice article on him in the "SH[Schleswig-Holstein]-Journal" No.25 of a local northern german daily newspaper. There's even a great picture of him included, posing with similar youngsters J. Hillmann (Cdr.) and apparently the LI for a rare photo shot taken in Hamburg, early 1945.
That's all nothing but a minor note, but I'd just like to put the info to this forum.
