I have a copy , with photograph,of Wilhelm's  Deutsches Reichs- Sportabzeichen fur Manner record book.

He was awarded the Bronze level, Nr. 330771 on 24th April, 1935.

It is recorded that at that time he was at Flensburg Murwick .

Records show that he died on 26th February, 1944 and his buried in Cuxhaven.

Rest in Peace brother sailor.
