Hi,

In the book  Die italienischen  Militärinternierten im deutschen Machtbereich 1943 bis 1945,  Gerchard Schreiber, 1990 the author writes that TA-10 and Donizetti were sunk by destroyers Eclips and Fury. This is also claimed by the Italians http://www.grupsom.com/Libri/Articoli/Motonave%20Donizetti.htm
But the British write that in the battle participated only Eclips
http://www.naval-history.net/xDKWD-Levant1943d.htm
H.M.S. ECLIPSE patrolling south of Scarpanto Straits sank an M.V. close inshore under Cape Prasonisi at 01.30 and damaged an escorting destroyer which beached itself.
Who writes the truth?

War diary TA 10 states that the german ships were attacked by two destroyers which later split up, at least for a while.
Gruß, Thorsten

In a night battle you can see what was not. I wonder what is written in English documents and other modern authors.
