Bild 087 zeigt ein zweites dunkelgrau gemaltes Schnellboot an der Pier ..
.. diese Farbgebung ist mir von 1940 so noch nicht bekanntgeworden

Bild 088 zeigt eine Flagge mit Hakenkreuz und ich möchte Dich bitten, das im Foto abzudecken und neu einzustellen .. Danke für schnell(bootartig)e Reaktion

Pictures from Haugesund in this album seems to be from 18th of april to aprox 25 april. Added a part of the photo 087.

Part of a picture taken in Bergen in april 1940. Same dark grey colour as the boat in Haugesund. Could even be the same boat.

Hi,

The No. 15 photo shows one of S 22 or S 23 with the big "Micky Mouse" ventilators.

There are some other photos showing a dark grey Schnellboote with Carl Peters in Bergen.

Hi,

I had a look at another photo of Carl Peters and the grey Schnellboot. It looks like it is one of S 19 or S 21. It was then probebly a Rotte (two boats) that were painted dark grey.

The Minenschiff in Wilhelmshaven must be Preussen based on small details. (Photo Norge 7a)

Some new Schnellbootbegleitschiff Carl Peters photos on Ebay.

What/Where/When?

CP Norge 1a: Must be the hit on Carl Peters mast on 9 April 1940.
CP Norge 2a: Is this the burning oil tanks sean from Carl Peters?
CP Norge 2b: The same burning oil tanks as sean earlier in this thread?
CP Norge 3: The German transporter Bärenfels that was hit on 10 April in Bergen?
CP Norge 4: Carl Peters in Bergen? The two hammers on the smoke stack must be some kinde of trick to camoflage Carl Peters as a civilan ship. What shiping line had two hammers? Is the band yellow?

  The two hammers on light ground come nearest to Blumenfeld-Reederei or Norddeutsche Kohlen & Cokes-Werke AG, but the appearance is a bit different.

p.s.: Neben "Gneisenau" liegt m.E. Tanker "Moonsund" oder eher das Schwesterschiff "Belt".

Two pictures from april 1940. First taken i Bergen in april 1940, embarking for the operations in Hardangerfjord(Eide/Granvin/Ulvik etc). The second one showing one of the darker painted schnellboote used in Bergen. Picture taken in Hardangerfjord 20 april 1940. The ship to the left is the norwegian D/S Haus, used as a guard vessel by the norwegian navy. The ship in the middle is HNoMS Tyr. Both ships taken by german forces 20 april.(pictures own collection)
