 1865 (the first year of Keio) The Tokugawa shogunate bought a Prussian sailing ship "Brandenburg" which was being shipped to Nagasaki for $ 35,000. It was named Mika Saibo (Maru). The largest domestic transport ship in the country. It is the core of the Tokugawa shogunate fleet / transport ship.

 Keio 4th year after the opening ceremony of Edo Castle · Edo Castle (1868) August 19th. The former Tokugawa fleet led by Enomoto Takefu escaped from the Edo bay with the anti-war former Shogunate and others.
 Sailing Mika Himaru was accompanied by a fleet towed by a military ship 's warship (which seems to be open - rolling or revolving). Although I went northward, I had a storm off Tateyama off the coast of August 21 and sank at the black litter coast.

The former shogunate fighter, Hitoro Iba, who lost her arm in the Battle of Hakone, was aboard the Mihama Himaru but after transit, after latent in Edo, he headed north to join the anti-warrior.
